Summer has always been a favorite time to get the kids creating at our house. Paints, crayons, markers, stamps, glitter, glue and reams of paper live in the “art cabinet” just steps from the kitchen. Rainy days and days when it’s just too hot or the kids are just too bored, the materials come out. My willingness to let the kids make a mess dubbed our house the neighborhood “fun house.” Wait ’til you see what two girls can do with a ball of yarn while mommy rests.
Mine aren’t the only kids creating. You’ll see some really great work by readers’ kids this month as well. And, we’ll share some project ideas to get the creative juices flowing at your house, too.
Check back tomorrow!
