Blood Test For Diagnosing Depression Developed at Northwestern University

A long time coming, but researchers at Northwestern University in Chicago have developed the first blood test that can be used to diagnose depression. This is such a massively important breakthrough. Not only will it improve professionals’ ability to diagnose, but depression will move from a mental illness to a physical one. Just like diabetes, something the mental health community has been saying for years. I can hear the walls of stigma cracking just a little.
